Stalled sex assault case galls accuser

In the almost four months since she filed a sexual assault complaint against her landlord, Rhonda Gonzales has painfully learned that in Guadalupe County, the wheels of justice can move slowly.

“I gave them the evidence. It's not like there was any doubt. And they've arrested people on sexual assault for a lot less than that,” she said Friday.

“I went through the crying, screaming and not understanding. Now I feel numb, and they've made me feel it's all my fault,” she said.
