Work begins on new Comal County's children's advocacy center

NEW BRAUNFELS — Children’s Advocacy Center of Comal County’s new building is well into construction, and, from the looks of recent spikes in services the non-profit provides, it appears to be happening none too soon.

CACCC executive director Trendy Sharp said the organization finished its fundraising efforts in January for the building, which is being built at 1168 Pride Drive in New Braunfels. She said the 6,500-square-foot edifice is scheduled for completion this autumn.
