Pipe bomb is third attempt
By Eva Ruth Moravec - Express-NewsFor the third time in several weeks, a bomb was discovered Monday morning at a Northwest Bexar County home, prompting the evacuation of eight households, authorities said.
A man who lives in the 10300 block of Timber Country, near Braun Road and Loop 1604, called 911 around 8 a.m. when he noticed damage to his SUV before he left for work.
The side of the SUV was burned, said Lt. Dennis Casillas, and when officers arrived, the resident pointed out a pipe bomb beneath the vehicle.
