Why are we paying this? Where else are we going to get electricity from?
If its to retain these key (?) folks then just pay them what they're supposed to be paid and get rid of this more feeding at the public trough.
CPS Energy dishing out record tally of bonus cash

Another year of strong results at city-owned CPS Energy means another round of record-breaking bonuses for the utility's employees.
CPS will give about $17 million in incentive pay to employees this year, up from the $16.6 million it handed out last year, which had been the utility's largest payout.
The new bonus totals will be finalized at the CPS trustees' board meeting April 29, when the utility's financial audit is complete.
