San Marcos man sought in slaying
By Jeorge Zarazua and Guillermo X. Garcia - Express-NewsAn arrest warrant has been issued for a fourth suspect accused in the death of a 35-year-old Lockhart man whose body was discovered last week during a traffic stop on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels.
Paul Tovar, 42, of San Marcos — whose car was found abandoned in San Antonio — is being charged with murder in Walter Capello's death.
Capello's body was found Sept. 1 after a New Braunfels patrol officer stopped a white Ford pickup in the 4800 block of Interstate 35 South. Authorities said after the truck's two occupants were questioned, authorities were told Capello had been killed in Hays County.
