'Cold case' leads to 4 capital murder arrests
By Michelle Mondo - Express-NewsMore than three years after a work crew found the body of Vicente Alvarez Huerta — shot dead and dumped in a field off Fischer Road — authorities have arrested four of the five suspects they believe are responsible for the crime.
By Thursday afternoon, Aaron Alaniz, 19; Augustine Alvarez, 21; Nicholas Reyes, 20; and Jonathan Sanchez, 19, all had been charged with capital murder, according to court records and the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives said they planned to arrest the fifth suspect, a woman, by today.
