Alex spawns flash flood watch for Comal

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for all of south central Texas in effect through 7 p.m. today.
The inflow of tropical moisture because of Hurricane Alex from the Gulf of Mexico will result in scattered bands of showers and thunderstorms. These storms will contain heavy rainfall that could produce flash flooding.
