NB woman indicted on theft charge
By Dalondo Moultrie - The Herald-ZeitungNEW BRAUNFELS — According to an indictment handed up last week by a Comal County grand jury, a 46-year-old New Braunfels woman stole tens of thousands of dollars from a local fence company over the course of about a year and a half.
A grand jury indictment dated Jan. 4 accuses Mary Cook of third-degree felony theft of property with an aggregate value between $20,000 and $100,000.
The charging document says Cook committed the crime “pursuant to one scheme and continuing course of conduct” from on or about Jan. 1, 2010 through on or about July 31, 2011.
