Weekend argument leads to shooting death

A weekend argument between rival car clubs over a table at a restaurant is believed to have led to the Monday shooting death of a teenager.

San Antonio police Sgt. Elias Tobias said David Valdez Jr., 18, was followed on Monday afternoon to a residence in the 1700 block of West Laurel and shot during a drive-by by another group of teens who had argued with him on Saturday.

Valdez was taken by ambulance to University Hospital where he later died, police confirmed.
