Another Maverick County official arrested on kick-back charges

The FBI's investigation into kickbacks in Maverick County has netted the arrest of another government employee.
Eduardo Rene Rodriguez, 40, turned himself in Thursday in Del Rio to face bribery charges, federal prosecutors said.
Rodriguez is a foreman for Maverick County Precinct 1, in charge of running the district's day-to-day operations. He succeeded former Precinct 1 foreman Jaime Flores, who was arrested last month.
